At Last: Images of Hope

I have heard so much about what the images from the entire inaugural day have been to so many.

The inaugural first dance choked a lot of my friends up (tears and all)

I guess the Etta James cover of "At Last" is fitting for so many reasons.

I love the look of all involved Mr.President, First Lady, and Sasha Fierce's alter ego Beyonce Carter. What do you think?

Ok, Obama we got your back

Yes, most of us (emphasis on us) have made our mind up about who should be the next ruler of the free world.

There are others out there who have not.

Somehow in the longest election in they history of the country they have not gathered enough information to do so.

Let us not get tired, for you can never underestimate the power or ignorance in large numbers

(2000, 2004, W still the president)

Here is what you can do to help. Go to Moveon.org and get a button or 45 buttons if you like (I offered the free option first cause we are in a recession) and wear it.

Being that you are reading this, you are probably a very stylish and influential person,

maybe a siting of you with the button can sway some of those who were not moved by all the speeches and forums on 24hour news, and print.

Doesn't that make you feel powerful.

First and foremost I love that most of the media coverage about our next first lady is about her fashion, and not about anything silly like her education and achievements. (That was full of sarcastic under tones)

LOL.

With that being said some days when an outfit comes together one can only say WOW and she had one of those days.

I have to give credit where credit is due, Michelle Obama (I know you didn’t think I was speaking of anyone else) looked great in her dress at the DNP acceptance rally for Barack Obama.

It was appropriate for the event. (regardless of what some have said, Haters!!)

I mean if your man has just slay a dragon to be in the running for the ruler of the free world, and you are called to stand there with him, a great dress is fitting.

Michelle Obama made herself and her husband look great. For that I will give her the first Distinguished Dtail award.
